Speech Therapy in Victoria, BC
New Victoria home visits. Online sessions are also available across British Columbia.
West End Speech now offers home visits for children and adults in Victoria, along with online sessions. You can choose the format that fits your week, or combine the two.
Home sessions let us work with the people, materials, and routines that are already part of your day. That might mean sharing a favourite book with a child or practising a conversation you have coming up.
Speech, Language, and Literacy Support for Children
We support children with speech sounds, understanding and using language, stuttering, and literacy skills. Parents and caregivers take part so they know what to practice between visits.
We start by talking through your concerns and the moments that are hard for your child: asking for help, joining play, or telling you about their day. We choose activities you can use at home, at the park, or on the way to school.
Adult Speech and Communication
For adults, we support stuttering, speech clarity, accent modification, and communication after a stroke or neurological change, including aphasia and dysarthria. Goals are built around situations that matter to you, such as talking with family, making a phone call, or speaking up in a meeting.
Family members or other communication partners can join sessions when that fits your goals.
Home Visits or Online Sessions
Home visits suit clients who want to practice in a familiar setting, or families who want everyone involved. Online speech therapy works well for many adults, school-age children, and teens, and can make it easier to fit sessions around work or school. Some clients use both.
