Need help preparing for CELPIP or PTE Core?
Coaching for PR from speech-language pathologists.
In Express Entry, your language results convert to CLB levels and CRS points. We help you practice the speaking and listening skills these tests assess. Online across BC, in person in Vancouver.
Our coaching is led by speech-language pathologists registered with CHCPBC and holding professional memberships with ASHA.
Your CLB levels feed into your CRS score
CELPIP General and PTE Core are designated by IRCC for Canadian permanent residence. Your results convert into Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) levels, which count toward the CRS points used to rank Express Entry candidates.
A higher CLB level in one skill can add points to your profile, so it makes sense to prepare carefully for the sections you find hardest.
Applying for citizenship instead? Most adult applicants need to show their speaking and listening at a minimum CLB level. CELPIP offers a shorter version for this, CELPIP-General LS, which tests only listening and speaking.
Stuck one band below the score you need?
Many applicants do well in reading and listening but find speaking harder to improve on their own. It can be hard to hear what is affecting your spoken responses.
The speaking test looks at how clearly and fluently you communicate. Fluency, pronunciation, and rhythm are speech skills, and speech is our clinical field.
Coaching from speech-language pathologists
We don’t teach template answers. We’re registered clinicians who assess and work on the speech skills the test looks at.
-
We start with an assessment
We listen to your speaking and identify the sounds, pauses, and patterns that affect how clearly you come across.
-
We practice with your test’s format
CELPIP and PTE Core use different speaking tasks. We practice with the format of the test you’re taking.
-
Pronunciation and fluency are our field
These parts of the speaking test can be hard to self-coach, and they are central to speech-language pathology.
-
Focused on your CRS goal
We plan practice around the CLB level you’re aiming for and your test date.

Why clients trust our coaching
Every program is led by a registered speech-language pathologist. For us, clear spoken communication isn't a side service — it's our entire clinical field. That's the difference between coaching and a generic test-prep course.

Frequently asked questions
Can you guarantee I’ll reach CLB 9 or 10?
No. We can’t promise a score. We can identify what is affecting your speaking, work on it directly, and track your progress along the way.
What’s the difference between CELPIP and PTE Core for PR?
Both are English tests used for Canadian permanent residence, and they differ in format and scoring. Check IRCC and the official test providers for current details. We can help you prepare for either.
Should I take CELPIP or IELTS for PR?
Both CELPIP General and IELTS General Training are used for Canadian permanent residence, and they feel quite different on test day. CELPIP is taken on a computer, including the speaking section. IELTS Speaking is a conversation with an examiner. Check IRCC and the official test providers for current details. We can help you prepare for either.
Do you help with CELPIP for citizenship?
Yes. Most adult citizenship applicants need to show speaking and listening at a minimum CLB level, currently CLB 4. CELPIP-General LS tests only those two skills, which are the skills we focus on. Check IRCC for the current requirements and accepted tests before you book your test.
Are these exams only for PR?
No. They’re mainly used for Canadian permanent residence and economic immigration, and CELPIP is also used for citizenship. If your goal is academic admission, ask us about TOEFL and CAEL preparation instead.
Do you offer sessions online?
Yes. We work with clients online across British Columbia and in person in Vancouver.
